The Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R II Digital Camera from Sony packs in a full-frame 42.4-megapixel Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor and BIONZ X processor behind a fixed Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens that grants users the ability to capture finely detailed images in an extraordinarily compact body. In addition to this, the RX1R II has the world's first variable optical low-pass filter system that can adjust the voltage on a liquid crystal layer to adjust the light-splitting properties of the array. This setting can also be used in the continuous shooting mode at up to a maximum of 5 fps for capturing fast-moving action. In addition to this, the improved processing and speed from the RX1R II's sensor and processor combo enable capturing images at expanded sensitivities ranging from ISO 50-102400. And, Sony has added an uncompressed 14-bit RAW format for uncompromising images. This viewfinder has an impressive magnification of 0.74x for comfortable, clear eye-level viewing and has a 4-lens optical system with two glass molded aspherical elements to ensure crisp, vibrant imagery. Along with this, the 3.0" 1,228.8k-dot LCD monitor can now tilt upwards 109° and down 41° for working in a variety of positions and angles. The lens also offers a fast f/2 maximum aperture for creating images with a shallow depth of field and for working more easily in low light.

Along with this, the lens utilizes three aspherical elements, including one advanced aspherical that will minimize aberrations and distortion. This format will record Full HD 1080p video at 50 Mbps at frame rates up to 60 fps. Also, the camera will be able to capture HD 720p video at up to 120 fps for slow motion and it has a 3.5mm jack for using external microphones and audio devices. The full-frame 42.4-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor present in the DSC-RX1R II works with the BIONZ X image processor to offer high-resolution stills and video while minimizing noise and improving speed. This sensor structure works with a gapless on-chip lens design and an anti-reflection coating, as well as eliminating the optical low-pass filter, to improve light collection and enhance detail. The world's first variable optical low-pass filter allows users to control the amount of filtration they need for each specific image as they work, in order to maximize detail from the 42.4-megapixel sensor. The system uses a liquid crystal layer to which it applies voltage in order to control the light-splitting function. Users will have access to three settings: Off, Standard, and Hi. This unique ability allows the RX1R II to work in a variety of circumstances that normally would require separate cameras. Additionally, a low-pass filter bracketing function is available for users to quickly compare the differences between the different modes.

Equipped with a fixed Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm f/2 lens, the RX1R II can deliver sharp imagery with exceptional control over depth of field. The maximum aperture of f/2 can enable shallow depth-of-field as well as benefit image quality in low-light conditions. Ensuring maximum image quality the 8 element 7 group optical construction utilizes three aspherical elements, including 1 advanced aspherical, that minimize aberrations and distortion. It uses 399 on-sensor phase-detect AF points with 45% coverage along with 25 contrast-detect AF points in order to improve the speed, accuracy, and tracking of the performance of the system. Faster readout thanks to the back-illuminated sensor structure also allows for tracking while shooting at the top continuous shooting rate of 5 fps. This can be captured with a continuous AF Display that allows users to view the active AF points.

Orders completed at or before 7:00 PM (GMT) will be packaged and shipped within 1-2 business day. Also we offer shipping with insurance.

Shipments and deliveries are processed on weekdays. Orders placed after 7:00 PM (GMT) on Friday, or on a Saturday or Sunday, will be processed on Monday or Next Business Day.

Delivery times are based on our best approximations and cannot be guaranteed. Estimated delivery times for shipments to the UK and EU Countries are based on estimates from our shipping partners. Some shipments may be delayed due to remote locations and this will affect delivery time.

Tracking Your Order

With the exception of lettermail shipments, all orders can be tracked through the “Your Account” page on the GadgetWard Parts website.

To track your order, simply enter the tracking number you have been provided after your shipment was processed. If you have not received a tracking order, your order has not yet been processed.

Damaged in Shipment

If you receive a product that was damaged in shipment, please contact info@gadgetward.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt and we’ll open a claim with the Courier Company on your behalf.

Please keep the box, the packaging, and the contents of the order to expedite your claim. Claims will require approximately two weeks for processing and replacements will be organized as needed.

Standard Return Policy for Electronics:

We accept product back under receipt of faulty product or DOA. We don't accept returns based on change of mind. It is customer's responsibility to notify us for DOA or Faulty product within 24 hours to get replacement or refund. Still wish to return within 30 days from the delivery date then we will charge 30% restocking fees on the total order price. Product must not have any scratch or dent and must be in returnable condition with all original package contents to qualify for full refund. With the exception of items damaged during shipments, customers are responsible for shipping charges when sending items back to our warehouse.

How to Claim Warranty?

- When customer gets issue in Product during the Warranty Period, customer need to contact us via email. We will provide shipping label to send product back to us, we will get it repaired from Manufacturer and send it back without any extra cost.

- Human error will not be covered under warranty.

- Any unauthenticated app downloading and/or flashing the product will not be covered under the warranty.

- Warranty resolution time: 3-4 weeks from the date of product received at our warehouse.

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (In Particular Manufacturing Country) no matter where purchased by original purchaser with actual proof of purchase. The manufacturer’s warranty includes workmanship and materials but not normal wear and tear.

GadgetWard branded products have a limited lifetime warranty (unless otherwise specified). We will repair or replace at our discretion.

GadgetWard’s warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only, and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. The warranty is valid only at GadgetWard. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than GadgetWard will void this warranty.
